Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held discussions with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, addressing bilateral cooperation and current international issues.

The diplomatic encounter occurred on July 24, 2026. Both foreign ministers conveyed their apprehension regarding the ongoing tensions in the Middle East, emphasizing the critical need for restraint and the re-establishment of dialogue.

Throughout their discussions, the two nations explored avenues for advancing their diverse relationship. Significant focus was placed on broadening collaboration in sectors such as trade, transportation, and logistics, alongside other key domains.
