Uzbekistan increases gasoline imports by 54% in 7 months

Uzbekistan increased gasoline imports by 54% in January-July 2026. This was reported based on data from the Customs Committee.
In the first seven months of this year, a total of 710 thousand tons of gasoline were imported into the country, the total value of which amounted to $ 426 million. The average price of each ton of gasoline was $ 600.
For comparison, in the same period of 2025, 461.7 thousand tons of gasoline were imported, the value of which amounted to $ 264.9 million. At that time, the import price of one ton of gasoline was $ 575. This means that in January-July 2026, 248.3 thousand tons more gasoline were imported than in the corresponding period of 2025.
At the same time, in the first half of this year, Uzbekistan produced 614.2 thousand tons of gasoline. This is 34.5 thousand tons more than in the same period of 2025, but 62.7 thousand tons less than in the first six months of 2024.
In early August, Uzbekneftegaz JSC announced that it planned to produce 1.1 million tons of gasoline by the end of 2026.
