Uzbekistan Fixed Capital Investment Up 17.5% in H1 2026

Uzbekistan's fixed capital investment reached 338.9 trillion soums in the first half of 2026, up 17.5% year-on-year, official statistics show.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – According to the National Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan experienced a 17.5% increase in fixed capital investment during the first half of 2026 compared to the previous year. The total investment from all funding sources reached 338.9 trillion soums between January and June 2026.

Foreign investments and non-guaranteed foreign loans constituted the largest portion of this financing, amounting to 235.6 trillion soums.

Enterprises contributed 38.6 trillion soums from their own funds towards these investments. Foreign loans backed by the Republic of Uzbekistan totaled 23.4 trillion soums, and public funds accounted for 19 trillion soums.

The republican budget allocated 16 trillion soums for fixed capital investment. Additionally, commercial bank loans and other borrowed capital provided 4.8 trillion soums, while the Reconstruction and Development Fund supplied 1.4 trillion soums.
