Uzbekistan commissions 7.7 million square meters of residential space in H1
Uzbekistan commissioned 7.7 million square meters of individual housing in the first half of 2026, according to data from the National Statistics Committee.

Uzbekistan saw the completion of 7.7 million square meters of new housing nationwide during the first half of the year, representing a 7.2% rise over the corresponding period in 2025.
The Tashkent region led all areas with 984,100 square meters of newly finished residential properties. Trailing closely were the Bukhara region with 978,500 square meters and the Khorezm region with 797,000 square meters.
Further contributions came from the Surkhandarya region, which added 699,900 square meters, the Namangan region with 697,100 square meters, and the Fergana region with 691,200 square meters.
Other regions reported the following figures: Kashkadarya region – 510,400 square meters; Tashkent city – 493,300 square meters; Karakalpakstan – 463,700 square meters; Jizzakh region – 396,700 square meters; Andijan region – 373,800 square meters; Navoi region – 353,700 square meters; Samarkand region – 200,300 square meters; and Syrdarya region – 63,200 square meters.
