Uzbekistan builds mosque in Kazakhstan’s Turkestan
The president of Uzbekistan, who visited Turkestan, together with the president of Kazakhstan, toured a mosque built by Uzbekistan as a gift to Kazakhstan. The complex covers more than 7 hectares, with additional 4.2 hectares of surrounding area. It can accommodate over 5,000 worshippers.
