Uzbekistan and Poland to Expand Digitalization Cooperation
Uzbek Ambassador Amirsaid Agzamkhodjayev met Polish Vice-Minister Rafał Rosiński to discuss digital, cybersecurity, and university ties.
Uzbekistan and Poland are set to broaden their collaboration in digitalization, as reported by the Dunyo news agency. This development follows a meeting between Uzbekistan's Ambassador, Amirsaid Agzamkhodjayev, and Poland's Deputy Minister of Digital Affairs, Rafał Rosiński.
The two nations reached an understanding to enhance their partnership across several key areas: digitalization, cybersecurity, innovation, and scientific research. A specific initiative will see the NASK Research Institute of Poland working alongside research institutes operating under the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan.
Particular emphasis was placed on fostering connections between the educational sectors of both countries. Uzbekistan's Cyber University intends to forge partnerships with three prominent Polish institutions: the Warsaw University of Technology, the University of Warsaw, and the Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
This educational collaboration is anticipated to encompass exchanges of both students and faculty, the creation of joint educational and research initiatives, and specialized training for cybersecurity professionals.
To advance these newly established agreements, both parties have scheduled a videoconference to take place in the near future.
