Uzbekistan and Korea discussed pharmaceutical and cosmetic production
At the Uzbekistan-Korea business forum, joint projects in pharmaceuticals and cosmeceuticals were discussed and MIBA was invited to Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan and Korea: New Horizons in Pharmaceuticals and Cosmetology
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A business forum brought together Uzbekistan and Korea to discuss ways to deepen partnerships in the pharmaceutical and cosmeceutical industries. Particular attention was paid to the creation of joint production ventures in Uzbekistan, according to the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry.
A delegation from Uzbekistan, led by Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry, participated in the forum. Representatives of the South Korean government, as well as heads of major companies and business circles, attended the event, discussing strengthening trade, economic, and investment ties between the two countries.
The forum also included separate meetings, including with the management of MIBA, a company specializing in the production of pharmaceutical and cosmetic products. The Uzbek side presented the potential for developing the pharmaceutical and cosmeceutical industries, current investment incentives, and the capabilities of the BioPharma City cluster.
The participants discussed prospects for establishing joint ventures in Uzbekistan, attracting investment, and implementing advanced technologies.
New investment projects and areas for further cooperation were also discussed.
Following the meetings, MIBA management received an invitation to visit Uzbekistan for a detailed discussion of specific areas of joint activity.
