Uzbek and Chinese Officials Review Joint Agenda

On July 16, 2026, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Mirvokhid Azimov, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Uzbekistan, convened a meeting with Yu Jun, who serves as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Uzbekistan.

During their discussions, both parties examined pressing issues on the Uzbek-Chinese bilateral agenda and explored interaction between the two nations within multilateral frameworks.

Specific attention was given to cooperation within the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) and the "Central Asia – China" format.
