Uzbekistan and Centre Pompidou signed a cooperation agreement
The Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan and the Paris-based Centre Pompidou signed a cooperation agreement providing for the development of a long-term partnership and the holding of an exhibition dedicated to the art and culture of Uzbekistan.
The document was signed on October 21 in Paris following a meeting between the Foundation's Chairperson, Gayane Umerova, and the President of Centre Pompidou, Laurent Le Bon.
Under the agreements reached, it is planned to organize an exhibition at Centre Pompidou that will introduce the international audience to the art and culture of Uzbekistan.
Centre Pompidou is one of the leading international modern art institutions and holds a major collection of 20th and 21st-century works.
The cooperation is developing as part of the efforts to strengthen international cultural ties, carried out on the initiative of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
