Uzbek Energy Ministry to Review LPG Supply Complaints

Uzbekistan's Energy Ministry said it will investigate complaints about liquefied gas supplies following reports of service problems in the Kuva district of Ferghana region.

Uzbekistan's Ministry of Energy announced it is investigating grievances concerning the provision of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to residential consumers. This action follows a report from the online news source Kun.uz, which highlighted issues in the Kuva district of the Ferghana region.

In a formal declaration, the ministry committed to a comprehensive review of each reported incident. This includes scrutinizing delays in the delivery of LPG cylinders, the process of refilling cylinders, the standard of customer support, and adherence to professional conduct by staff members.

The ministry stated that suitable actions would be implemented to rectify any deficiencies discovered during this examination.

Furthermore, it was noted that over recent months, various measures have been progressively rolled out across different regions of the country. These initiatives aim to resolve existing challenges in the household LPG supply chain and elevate service quality.

The Ministry of Energy urged consumers to direct their complaints and recommendations regarding gas supply to the regional task forces that have been established nationwide.
