Uzbek Diplomats Help Released Prisoner Return From Poland
Uzbek diplomats assisted the return of a citizen released on parole in Poland by arranging travel back to Uzbekistan, Dunyo reported.
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – Uzbek diplomatic staff have successfully facilitated the return of a citizen who was released on parole from a correctional facility in Poland, as reported by the Dunyo news agency.
The agency noted that Uzbekistan consistently offers systematic assistance to its nationals encountering difficult circumstances while abroad.
Through the combined efforts of personnel from Uzbekistan's embassy, the Artur Grabowski Law Office, and the Polish Border Guard, parole was secured for an Uzbek citizen identified as I.M., a native of Namangan Region.
I.M. had previously been sentenced by a Polish court to three years in prison following his involvement in a fatal road traffic accident.
After his release, diplomats, in collaboration with the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex), arranged his journey back to Uzbekistan.
An airline ticket for the Warsaw–Tashkent route was purchased for him, enabling his return home.
