Ukrainian strikes kill six in Russia, acting governor says
A 14-year-old child was among four others injured, the acting governor of Russia's Belgorod region says.

Ukrainian missile attacks in Russia's Belgorod region during the night have resulted in six fatalities and four injuries, according to the acting governor.
Acting Governor Alexander Shuvaev reported on Telegram early Monday that a 14-year-old was among the injured. He also stated that the strikes caused a building to burn and a car to be damaged in Koloskovo village, located in the Valuysky district near the Russian-Ukrainian border.
The child who sustained injuries has been hospitalized, while two other individuals received medical attention.
These strikes occurred the night after what officials described as Ukraine's "largest-scale" assault this year, which claimed at least seven lives. Concurrently, Russian attacks on Ukraine on the same night also resulted in at least seven deaths and over 39 injuries.
In recent weeks, Moscow has escalated its missile assaults across Ukraine, while Kyiv has increased its drone strikes deep within Russian territory. Both nations engaged in the conflict accuse the other of targeting civilian populations.
