Two Uzbeks on international wanted list detained in Kyrgyzstan

Two Uzbek citizens who were on the international wanted list were detained in the Kyrgyz city of Osh. This was reported by the "24.kg" publication, citing the city police department.
The first of those detained, a person born in 1988, was detained on August 6 in one of the apartments on Masaliyev Street. This person, who lives in the Andijan region, has been convicted several times in the past. He has been on the international wanted list since December 31, 2025 and is suspected of crimes related to the use of force against citizens and law enforcement officers in Uzbekistan.
The second person, a citizen born in 1985, was detained on August 7 on Avicenna Street. He is also a resident of the Andijan region and is wanted on suspicion of committing a murder in Tashkent.
Both individuals are currently being held in the temporary detention center of the Osh city police department. The issue of their extradition to the law enforcement agencies of Uzbekistan is being considered.
It should be recalled that recently it was reported that Uzbek brothers who had been wanted in Kyrgyzstan for 3 years were also detained. These individuals, who were detained in the Kadamjoy district, are suspected of deceiving citizens with the promise of making plastic windows.
