Two taken to hospital with serious injuries after crash

Two people have been seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision on the N13 in Burt, County Donegal.

Two individuals sustained serious injuries and were hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash in County Donegal on Tuesday.

The collision occurred around 5:30 PM local time on the N13, specifically between Bridgend and Manorcunningham, in the town of Burt.

Irish police, known as Gardaí, reported that both drivers were transported to Letterkenny University Hospital due to the severity of their injuries. One driver is a man in his twenties, while the other is in his late teens.

As of Tuesday evening, the road remains closed. Gardaí are urging anyone who was in the vicinity between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM local time and may have witnessed the incident to contact them.
