TURON International Business Club to launch in Tashkent under new foreign investment incentives
The official inauguration of the TURON International Business Club, created under the Uzbekistan National Economic Cooperation Association (UzMIHU), is scheduled for 27 October 2026 in Tashkent.
The ceremony is being held in the framework of Presidential Decree No. UP-97 of 23 June 2025 on additional measures to stimulate foreign direct investment, and Presidential Resolution No. PP-226 of 18 July 2025 on steps to implement the agreements reached by the Foreign Investors Council under the President. Under Decree UP-97, investors who invest more than USD 10 million are eligible for tax incentives for up to seven years.
The event is expected to gather the diplomatic corps, international organisations, representatives of government agencies, leading businesspeople and foreign delegations, with 300–400 guests anticipated. The agenda includes speeches by ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions on the importance of private business platforms in strengthening international cooperation, along with the signing of memoranda of cooperation between TURON and two or three foreign business associations and investment firms.
“We built TURON on a simple formula: from introduction to deal. A member joins the club, enters the relevant circle of contacts, takes part in a bilateral business meeting and visits a potential partner’s enterprise. This leads to a partnership, an investment or an export contract,” said Ilkhom Begimkulov, President of the TURON International Business Club.
The club unites entrepreneurs from the construction, manufacturing, agriculture, information technology, finance, logistics, tourism, textile, export and investment sectors. During the opening, an interactive map will showcase TURON’s international business cooperation with Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Türkiye, China, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Poland and other countries.
Its practical work includes arranging business visits to major enterprises, bilateral meetings between Uzbek and foreign entrepreneurs, presentations of investment projects, and assistance to exporters entering overseas markets.
