Turkish Super League. "Basaksehir" lost in the match where Shomurodov scored (video)

In the 2nd round of the Turkish Super League, the match between "Trabzonspor" and "Basaksehir" took place. The hosts won the match 2:1 at the "Papara Park" stadium.

In the 8th minute of the match, "Trabzonspor" player Muhammad Salah opened the score. In the 19th minute, the guests' striker, captain of the Uzbekistan national team Eldor Shomurodov, took advantage of the penalty kick to restore the balance and the score became 1:1. However, at the beginning of the second half, Muhammad Salah scored his second goal and brought his team ahead again. The remaining minutes of the match were also full of fierce battles, but no more goals were scored.

It is noteworthy that the Uzbek players representing the Istanbul club - Abbosbek Fayzullayev and Eldor Shomurodov - started the match in the starting lineup. Fayzullayev was replaced by Davye Zelke in the 58th minute, while Shomurodov played the full 90 minutes.

After this victory, Trabzonspor increased its points to 4 and moved up to 3rd place in the Turkish Super League standings. The defeated Basaksehir is in 10th place with 3 points.
