**Turkish Cinema Days in Tashkent: Famous actors to meet Uzbek fans**
Cinema is considered one of the art forms that brings nations closer together, introducing different cultures and history through the screen. In this regard, the "Turkish Cinema Days" to be held in Tashkent is expected to become a special cultural event not only for cinema enthusiasts but also for those interested in Turkish culture.
On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence, "Turkish Cinema Days" will be organized in the capital from September 25 to 29 within the framework of the Turkey–Uzbekistan culture and art meetings.
The event will be held at the National Cinema Art Palace of Uzbekistan with the support of the General Directorate of Cinema of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey. Over the course of five days, viewers will be shown Turkish films of various genres that have won the acclaim of cinema fans. Along with film presentations, the program also includes creative meetings and events featuring prominent representatives of Turkish cinema.
In particular, the grand opening ceremony to be held on September 25 is expected to be of special interest to cinema fans. In it, famous actors of Turkish cinema and television Engin Altan Düzyatan, Özge Gürel, Serkan Çayoğlu, and Deniz Barut will walk the red carpet and meet with Uzbek fans.
The gala evening will also feature the screening of a mini-series titled "Kökenlerin Fısıltısı", which aims to introduce Turkey's rich cultural heritage and tourism potential to international audiences. Engin Altan Düzyatan and Özge Gürel, who played the lead roles in it, are planned to participate in the event.
In addition, Serkan Çayoğlu, who portrayed the character of Mehmed the Conqueror in the TRT TV series "Mehmed: Fetihler Sultanı", and Deniz Barut, who played the role of Gülizar in the film "Bak Postacı Geliyor", will also meet with the audience.
The film screenings will start on September 26 with director Tunç Davut's film "Kesilmiş Bir Ağaç Gibi". Starring Ali İpin, Feyyaz Duman, and Selen Kurtaran, this film was selected as Turkey's official candidate for the "Best International Feature Film" category at the 99th Academy Awards.
On September 27, director Yüksel Aksu's film "Bak Postacı Geliyor" will be screened. Based on events taking place in a small town in the Aegean region in the 1950s, the film tells the story of postman Osman's struggle to be with Gülizar. The lead roles are played by Deniz Barut and Ozan Akbaba.
On September 28, the film "Mutluyuz mu?" by directors İbrahim Büyükak and Emrah Aguş will be presented to the audience. The lead roles in the film are played by İbrahim Büyükak and Yasemin Sakallıoğlu.
"Turkish Cinema Days" will conclude on September 29 with the screening of the animated film "Dedektif Reptır" by directors Emre Karayel and Leyla Yaman. The work tells the adventures of Detective Reptir and his team as they try to shed light on mysterious events.
For five days, Tashkent will offer an opportunity to get closely acquainted with Turkish cinema, its modern trends, and famous creators. This cultural event is intended to further enrich the historical friendship and cultural ties between Uzbekistan and Turkey through art.
