Trump's approval rating has fallen to a historic low amid the Iran war.

President Donald Trump's approval rating has reached a record low of 33%, the lowest level of his presidency. These figures are based on a national poll conducted by Reuters and Ipsos.
The survey found that 64% of Americans are dissatisfied with the president's performance in the White House. This compares to 35% approval at the beginning of this month. This figure is the lowest level of Trump's first term, recorded in December 2017.
Trump's decline in popularity coincides with the military operation against Iran, which the US is conducting jointly with Israel. This conflict has blocked one-fifth of global oil exports through the Strait of Hormuz and has triggered a rise in fuel prices, placing a financial burden on American families.
Approximately 80% of respondents, including 87% of Democrats and 71% of Republicans, expressed confidence that US involvement in the Iran conflict will be prolonged. Only 16% of respondents believe the conflict will end in the coming weeks.
Speaking at a rally in Garden City, New York, Trump declared that higher gas prices were an acceptable price to pay for preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. However, according to the poll, only 20% of Americans and about half of Republican respondents believe military action is justified.
The military conflict and rising fuel costs are reducing the Republican Party's chances of maintaining its razor-thin majority in the House of Representatives in the upcoming November 3 elections. Meanwhile, the Democratic Party is strengthening its position in the Senate race.
