Today, the most famous mansion in Istanbul is the house belonging to the Korhan family on the shores of the Bosphorus. In reality, this property belongs to Dilek Sabancı, the heiress of a major business empire. According to rumors, OGM Pictures, the company that filmed the series “Golden Boy”, paid the homeowner a monthly rent of 600,000 liras (more than 22,000 dollars). Dilek Sabancı, considered one of the wealthiest women in Turkey, donated all of these funds to a charity foundation. During filming breaks, private tours to the Korhan mansion are also organized.

**The Flower Shop**

A famous attraction located in the east of the Üsküdar district is the Beylerbeyi Palace, which tourists always visit. A half-hour walk from there leads to the most famous flower shop in Istanbul, belonging to Aunt Eda. In reality, besides flowers, fertilizer and soil for plants are also sold here.

Sultanahmet is considered the heart of the historical center of Istanbul. The Hagia Sophia Mosque, which was the Orthodox cathedral of Constantinople before the arrival of the Ottomans, faces the majestic Blue Mosque. Hagia Sophia was built between 532 and 537, while the Blue Mosque was erected a thousand years later. The square between these majestic architectural monuments is always crowded with tourists.
