Tottenham sign another player from Manchester City on loan - media report

Tottenham have agreed a season-long loan deal for Manchester City striker Omar Marmoush. The deal will see the London club make a mandatory £60m purchase next season.

The Egypt international is set to undergo a medical at Tottenham.

This is the second transfer Spurs have made from Manchester City in as many days. The club previously signed Brazilian winger Savio for an initial £75m.

It is also the continuation of the London club's active summer transfer policy. Tottenham have also signed Sandro Tonali, Mateusz Fernandes, Jan Paul van Hecke, Andrew Robertson and Marcos Senesi.

The £60m fee for Marmoush would allow Manchester City to recoup the £59m they paid Eintracht Frankfurt for the player in January 2025.

Marmoush, 27, has scored 16 goals in 62 appearances for City, but has mainly come on as a substitute for Erling Haaland.

He was an unused substitute in the Premier League opener against Bournemouth on Sunday. Marmoush's last appearance for the club came in the FA Super Cup a week ago.

The summer transfer window has also seen a major shake-up for Manchester City. Rodri, Bernardo Silva, John Stones, Tijjani Reynders, Nathan Ake and James Trafford have all left the club ahead of Marmoush's departure. Nico Gonzalez could also leave before the transfer window closes.
