Rain expected in most regions of Uzbekistan today

According to Uzhydromet, variable cloudiness and rain, heavy in places, are forecast across Uzbekistan today. In the Fergana Valley, rain is expected in places by evening. No precipitation is expected in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, and Surkhandarya regions. The wind will be easterly, shifting to westerly at 7-12 m/s, with gusts increasing to 13-18 m/s in places, and potentially up to 20-22 m/s in some areas, accompanied by dusty ground winds. The temperature will be 20-25 degrees, and up to 33 degrees in the south.

In Tashkent, variable cloudiness is expected, with rain at times in the afternoon. The wind will be westerly at 3-8 m/s, with possible gusts up to 10-14 m/s, and dusty ground winds in some areas. The temperature will be 22-24 degrees, with a gradual decrease to 17-19 degrees expected.

In the foothill and mountainous areas of the country, variable cloudiness and rain at times, heavy in places, are expected. Thunderstorms are possible. In high-altitude areas, rain may turn into snow. Mudslides and floods are possible. The wind will be easterly, shifting to westerly at 7-12 m/s, with gusts potentially increasing to 15-20 m/s in places. The temperature will be 17-22 degrees.
