In the first half of 2026, the volume of public procurement in Uzbekistan amounted to 188.4 trillion soums, while budget savings reached 7.2 trillion soums.

According to the Agency for Industrial Cooperation and Public Procurement, in the first half of 2026, government customers in Uzbekistan concluded 1,099,305 contracts worth a total of 188.4 trillion soums.

Analysis and optimization of procurement procedures resulted in savings of 7.2 trillion soums in budget funds.

The largest volume of public procurement occurred in Tashkent, where contracts worth 77.7 trillion soums were signed, accounting for 41% of the total. Navoi Region ranked second with 34.3 trillion soums (18%), and Tashkent Region ranked third with 17.2 trillion soums (9%).

Among budgetary customers, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education leads the way, signing contracts worth 13.45 trillion soums. It is followed by the Ministry of Transport with purchases of 10.98 trillion soums and the Ministry of Water Resources with 7.01 trillion soums.

Among corporate customers, the largest purchase volume was recorded by Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Plant JSC with 21.78 trillion soums. Other major customers included Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Plant JSC with purchases of 8.42 trillion soums, Uzbekneftegaz JSC with 6.47 trillion soums, and Navoiyuran JSC with 5.82 trillion soums.
