During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to further develop practical cooperation in law enforcement, according to the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.

The delegations of the two agencies were led by the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, Major General Botir Kudratkhodjaev, and the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Colonel General of Police Andrei Khrapov.

The talks focused on cooperation in combating crime, ensuring public safety, combating transnational crime, and improving the qualifications of law enforcement officers.

Meeting participants emphasized the importance of further strengthening information exchange between the ministries and coordinating operational activities using modern information technology.

Following the meeting, the parties concluded that the dialogue, conducted in an open and constructive atmosphere, would contribute to the further development of interagency cooperation and the strengthening of mutual trust and understanding.

Following the meeting, the Uzbek delegation visited the main departments of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow and St. Petersburg, which are frequently visited by Uzbek citizens.
