The total number of people killed in Gaza as a result of Israeli attacks has been announced

"Since the war began by Israel in October 2023, 73,914 Palestinians have been killed and 174,952 others have been injured in the Gaza Strip," the TV channel reported, citing a statement from the Gaza Ministry of Health.

Over the past 24 hours, at least four Palestinians were killed and 17 others were injured as a result of Israeli attacks on Gaza. In addition, according to the ministry, nearly 1.4 thousand Palestinians have lost their lives and about 5 thousand have been injured even after the ceasefire agreement that came into force on October 11, 2025.

The war in Gaza began in October 2023. In October 2025, US President Donald Trump announced that the Israeli government and the Hamas movement had agreed to the first phase of the plan proposed by Washington to resolve the conflict in the Gaza Strip. Despite this, Israel is still launching strikes on the strip.

In addition, a 6-story residential building damaged in the war collapsed in Gaza City overnight into September 16. As a result, at least 20 Palestinians were killed, including women and five children. Another 14 people were injured.
