The Tashkent city administration has fired two employees who had previously committed crimes.

Two employees with criminal records were dismissed from the Tashkent administration. Another employee was transferred to another position as part of a planned staff rotation.
These measures were taken following an analysis conducted by the Compliance and Internal Anti-Corruption Control Service. In total, specialists from this service analyzed information on 29 employees who had previously committed crimes.
Six of these employees work in district administrations, and the remaining 23 work in various organizations within the khokimiyat system. Preventive talks were held with the remaining employees, and their immediate supervisors were instructed to strengthen oversight of their activities and consider the possibility of rotation.
In addition, the service reviewed data on 1,353 khokimiyat employees who had committed administrative offenses. This information was passed on to their immediate supervisors for further outreach.
The khokimiyat emphasized that the internal control system is aimed not only at identifying existing violations but also at preventing corruption risks, conflicts of interest, and other illegal activities.
As a reminder, the Anti-Corruption Agency previously requested an internal investigation into Shahrisabz District Khokim Samad Khasanov. This occurred after a video circulated on social media showing him entering a local resident's home and scolding her for the poor condition of her home and surrounding area.
