The season has ended for Kvaratskhelia. It has been confirmed that his cruciate ligaments are torn.
The player who was injured and left the pitch in the match against Barcelona will undergo surgery. He will be unable to play for at least nine months.

The season has come to an end for Khvicha. It has been confirmed that he ruptured his cruciate ligaments.
The match between PSG and Barcelona (4:2) in the 3rd round of the Champions League league phase was filled with injuries. In the first half alone, head coaches Luis Enrique and Hansi Flick were forced to make one substitution each due to injuries to Ousmane Dembélé and Dani Olmo. In the second half, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia suffered a serious injury. The Georgian winger could not continue the match due to a knee injury. Today, the Parisian club's press service announced that the player suffered a rupture of the cruciate ligaments in his right knee.
In the 57th minute of the match, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia fell awkwardly onto the pitch after colliding with opposition defender Xavi Espart.
Initially, it seemed as though the Spanish defender suffered more in the collision, but Espart got up and continued playing, while Kvaratskhelia remained lying on the turf holding his right knee.
In the 59th minute, Luis Enrique replaced his winger with Maghnes Akliouche. Khvicha could not leave the pitch on his own: two members of the medical staff helped him off the field on their shoulders into the tunnel. The footage also showed that the player could not put weight on his right leg.
During the match, speculations arose about the rupture of the cruciate ligaments in Kvaratskhelia's knee. Spanish physiotherapist Ángel Villanueva analyzed the video recording of the episode and estimated that recovery would take nine months.
"The collision clearly shows a forced inward displacement of the right knee with a fixed foot. Such a mechanism is characteristic of a combined injury to the anterior cruciate and internal collateral ligaments. He may be out for up to nine months," Villanueva wrote on social media.
PSG defender Achraf Hakimi urged caution after the match.
"Ousmane will undergo an MRI scan tomorrow. Kvara as well. I hope it is nothing serious," the Moroccan player said on Canal+ Foot.
