The number of mobile Internet users increased by 4.3 times

The number of mobile Internet subscribers in Uzbekistan has reached 33.3 million. Compared to 2015, the number of users has increased by 4.3 times.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — According to the National Statistics Committee, as of January 1, 2026, the number of subscribers connected to the Internet via mobile communication in Uzbekistan reached 33.3 million.

This figure increased by 25.5 million people compared to 2015, that is, by 4.3 times. Ten years ago, the number of mobile internet users was 7.8 million subscribers.

The number of mobile internet users has been growing steadily during this period. In particular, in 2016, the number of subscribers reached 9 million, in 2017 - 10.3 million, in 2018 - 12.7 million, and in 2019 - 15.7 million.

In 2020, 17.9 million subscribers used mobile internet services. In subsequent years, this figure increased further, reaching 21 million in 2021, 24 million in 2022, 27.1 million in 2023, and 29.2 million in 2024.

As a result, by the beginning of 2026, the number of mobile internet subscribers amounted to 33.3 million.
