The legal protection of business entities is being strengthened
Some administrative procedures restricting the ability to apply legal measures to economic entities violating the legislation, as well as the ability to quickly resume economic activity after eliminating the violation, have been eliminated.

Legal Protection for Business Entities Enhanced
Law No. ZRU-1183 of 20.10.2026 introduced amendments and additions to certain legislative acts aimed at reducing the regulatory burden on business entities.
The document eliminates certain unnecessary administrative procedures that restricted the possibility of applying legal measures to economic entities violating statutory requirements, and also prevented the quick resumption of economic activities after such a violation was rectified.
In particular, the Law introduces amendments to the Economic Procedural Code concerning the number of documents attached to an application for the application of a legal measure in the form of suspending operations on bank accounts.
Furthermore, amendments and additions have been introduced to the Tax Code, providing for the procedure for judicial review of the application of this legal measure, as well as the cancellation of the issued decision after the circumstances that served as the basis for suspending these operations are eliminated, in cases where the economic entity objects to the tax authority's decision to suspend operations on its bank accounts.
It is noted that the Law is designed to eliminate procedures that limit the capabilities of economic entities whose bank accounts have been blocked, as well as to ensure the stability of economic entities.
The document was published in the National Database of Legislation in the state language and entered into force on 21.10.2026.
