The fourth Uzbekistan–Belarus interparliamentary forum has begun in Khiva

The Fourth Uzbekistan–Belarus Interparliamentary Forum has commenced in Khiva
On September 29, the fourth Uzbekistan–Belarus interparliamentary forum on the topic "Strategic Partnership: Development of Interparliamentary Dialogue, New Tasks and Prospects of Cooperation" began its work in the city of Khiva.
The forum is attended by the heads and members of the chambers of the parliaments of Uzbekistan and Belarus, representatives of the government, ministries and departments, local Kengashes (councils), higher education institutions, youth parliaments, and business.
During the two-day event, issues of developing interparliamentary relations, defining new areas of cooperation, and strengthening the partnership between the two countries will be discussed.
Within the framework of the forum, a meeting of representatives of local representative bodies of Uzbekistan and Belarus will also take place.
The fourth business forum of businesswomen of Uzbekistan and Belarus is also being organized in Khiva. It will consider issues of industrial cooperation, joint investments, agro-industry, food security, biotechnology, tourism, as well as cooperation in humanitarian and social spheres.
Participants of the event can also familiarize themselves with the exhibition of national products manufactured under the "Made in Uzbekistan" and "Made in Belarus" brands.
At the conclusion of the forum, it is planned to adopt the Khiva Declaration, as well as to sign commercial contracts, cooperation agreements, and memorandums.
