The first image from an Uzbek satellite

Uzbekistan's first satellite, Samarkand-2028, launched on August 5, successfully transmitted its first image to Earth. The image was taken over Greece.

The satellite is equipped with an artificial intelligence module developed by Uzbekcosmos, as well as a hyperspectral camera from the Chinese company STAR.VISION. This camera is capable of imaging in more than 20 spectral bands.

The AI module, developed by Uzbekcosmos, enables the processing of the received hyperspectral data directly in orbit, significantly accelerating the process of obtaining and analyzing the information.
