The government resolution approved the procedure for organizing the activities of consultants on issues of spirituality and the state language in state bodies, economic associations, and local khokimiyats. Their main tasks, appointment, and reporting procedures were determined.

The duties of state language consultants have been determined.

By Resolution No. 437 of the Cabinet of Ministers of August 7, 2026, the Regulation on the procedure for organizing the activities of consultants on issues of spirituality and the state language in the central offices of state bodies and economic associations at the republican level, as well as in the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions, the city of Tashkent, and district and city khokimiyats was approved.

According to the Regulation, the Department for the Development of the State Language of the Cabinet of Ministers coordinates the activities of consultants and provides them with methodological guidance.

Consultants are appointed and dismissed by the head of the relevant state body, organization or economic association in agreement with the Department for the Development of the State Language.

One of the main duties of consultants is to consider issues related to the development of the state language and the naming of geographical objects under the supervision of the heads of state bodies and organizations and participate in making relevant decisions.

They also monitor the implementation of orders, resolutions and instructions of the heads of state bodies and organizations on the further development of the state language and spiritual and educational work.

According to the established procedure, the reports of the consultants are heard by the Department for the Development of the State Language at least once a year.

In addition, the consultants report on their activities quarterly at meetings of the relevant state bodies and organizations. Appropriate measures are taken based on the results of the report.
