**The deadline for applications for the President AI Award competition has been extended until August 15**

The deadline for applications for the President AI Award 2026 competition for teams with a working product created based on artificial intelligence (AI) has been extended until August 15. This competition, with a total investment fund of $ 1 million, is aimed at supporting AI startups in Uzbekistan.

**Conditions and areas of competition**

The competition accepts not only projects at the concept stage, but also products with a working MVP (minimum viable product). The project must be demonstrated in practice and its functionality must be confirmed.

Projects are accepted in the following five main areas:

* Public administration

* Industry and entrepreneurship

* Healthcare and medicine

* Education

* Green economy and agrotechnologies

Teams of 3 to 8 people, consisting of participants over 18 years of age, can participate in the competition.

**Application Procedure**

The application must include a presentation of the project in Uzbek, Russian and English, a video presentation of up to three minutes, a working MVP link and information about the team.

**Acceleration program and determination of winners**

25 startups that have passed the initial selection will be accepted into the acceleration program. Within the framework of this program, teams will develop their products in collaboration with mentors and experts and prepare for presentations to investors.

At the end of the acceleration, startups will demonstrate their developments at the Demo Day event. After that, three winners will be determined in each direction, a total of 15.

**Awards**

* First place winners will receive $100,000

* Second place winners will receive $60,000

* Third place winners will receive $40,000 in investment.

Funds will be provided in two tranches, depending on the implementation of KPIs (key performance indicators) set by IT Park Ventures.

Participation in the competition is free. Applications can be submitted through the awards.gov.uz platform until August 15.
