The date of the fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua has been announced

The long-awaited clash between former professional boxing heavyweight World Champion Tyson Fury and another former champion Anthony Joshua will take place on December 11 at the "Principality Stadium" arena in Cardiff, Wales. This fight will be broadcast live worldwide by the Netflix platform.

According to the source, the venue and date of the fight were announced by Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia and President of the Saudi Boxing Federation. He announced that an agreement on organizing the fight between Fury and Joshua has finally been reached.

Earlier, long negotiations were held regarding where the two boxers would enter the ring. The option of holding the clash at the "Madison Square Garden" arena in New York, USA, was also considered. Ultimately, it was decided that the fight would be held in Great Britain.

Fury and Joshua will meet face-to-face for the first time ahead of the fight at a press conference in London on September 30.

The 38-year-old Fury has fought 39 bouts in professional boxing, winning 36 of them. The "Gypsy King" has lost only twice, and one of his fights ended in a draw. He lost to Ukraine's Oleksandr Usyk in two fights for the undisputed World Championship.

Fury had announced his retirement after losing to Usyk in December 2024. However, Tyson returned to the ring in January 2026 and secured two victories (against Arslanbek Makhmudov and Mariusz Wach).

The 36-year-old Joshua has not fought since a car accident in Nigeria last December. Two of his close friends died in that accident. Joshua returned to the ring and fought in July. He has participated in 34 fights in professional boxing, winning 30 of them. "AJ" has suffered defeat only 4 times.

The fight will be broadcast worldwide on Netflix at no additional cost.
