Norway's King Harald's health worsened

According to AP News, Norway's King Harald's health deteriorated over the weekend. The royal palace said this.

The 89-year-old monarch had been on leave for several weeks due to illness. He was admitted to the National Hospital a week ago. Europe's oldest monarch is being treated with antibiotics for a bacterial infection of the blood.

The royal palace reported on the evening of August 23 that the treatments he is receiving are having a positive effect and his condition is considered stable. Currently, his son, Crown Prince Haakon, is temporarily ruling the country instead of the king.

Last week, the palace reported that the king was suffering from hemolytic anemia and was treated with cortisone. As a result, he had to be hospitalized due to fluid accumulation in the body. King Harald, who has been on the throne since 1991, has been hospitalized several times in recent years.

It was previously reported that former US President Joe Biden's prostate cancer had spread throughout his body and his condition had worsened significantly. His son Hunter Biden said his father was in severe pain.
