On September 10, the Bishkek City Court passed a verdict on the defendants in the "75 letters" case, including the former chairman of the State Committee for National Security, Kamchybek Tashiyev.

All defendants in the "75 letters" case were sentenced to 4 years, but the court placed them under probation supervision for a period of 2 years. The Bishkek City Court removed the article on "seizing power by force" and applied the article on "obstructing the exercise of electoral rights" instead. At the same time, the new article does not provide for the confiscation of property.

On July 2, the Pervomaysky District Court of Bishkek passed a verdict in the "75 letters" case. At that time, Kamchybek Tashiyev was found guilty under the article "Seizing power by force" and sentenced to 4 years of imprisonment. However, 3 years of probation supervision was established, and he was released from serving the sentence.

In February, 75 people sent an appeal to President Sadyr Japarov and the Chairman of the Jogorku Kenesh, requesting early presidential elections. The authors of the appeal were later detained, and criminal cases were opened against some of them. Following this letter, Kamchybek Tashiyev was dismissed from his post. At that time, President Sadyr Japarov stated that the investigation and the court would determine the involvement of his friend Tashiyev in the "75 letters" case.
