Anti-Corruption Agency discovers hundreds of khokimiyat decisions illegally hidden from publication

In Uzbekistan, 771 decisions of local khokimiyats were identified that were not posted in the E-qaror system without legal grounds. Following the intervention of the Anti-Corruption Agency, all these documents were published, and three officials were dismissed as a result of the inspections.

According to the agency, in the first nine months of 2026, local khokimiyats adopted a total of 128.2 thousand documents. Of these, 90.9 thousand, or 71%, were made publicly available. Another 37.3 thousand documents (29%) remained restricted or were adopted under the "For Official Use" classification. At the same time, compared to the same period last year, the number of restricted documents decreased by 15%.

To eliminate the violations, the agency sent 53 official demands to the khokimiyats. Following this, all identified documents were published.

Based on the results of internal investigations, three officials were dismissed, and two more received reprimands. In addition, 96 officials were officially warned of disciplinary liability.
