The Agency for Knowledge Assessment and Qualifications (AQQ) and UNICEF discussed ways to improve the education assessment system.
A meeting was held in Tashkent between Majid Karimov, Director of the Agency for Knowledge Assessment and Qualifications (AQQ), and Alberto Biancoli, Head of the Education Department of the UNICEF Uzbekistan Office.
According to the AQQQ, the key topics of discussion were the development of the national education quality assessment system and prospects for further cooperation.
During the talks, the parties focused on improving the education quality assessment system in line with international standards, introducing a unified state examination for school graduates, and organizing and conducting an international audit of the national certification system for general education subjects and foreign languages.
Meeting participants also exchanged views on priority areas for cooperation. These included enhancing the qualifications of assessment specialists, engaging international experts, improving assessment tools, and strengthening the reliability, objectivity, and transparency of the national assessment system.
Following the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of consistently developing cooperation, integrating international experience into the national assessment system, and implementing joint projects aimed at improving the quality of education.
