The 19th International Conference of Country Code Top-Level Domain Administrators and Registrars TLDCON 2026 will be held in Tashkent
On September 22–23, 2026, Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, will host the 19th International Conference of Country Code Top-Level Domain Administrators and Registrars of Eastern Europe and Central Asia (TLDCON 2026).
The conference will be organized at the Panarams Tashkent Hotel and will bring together leading experts, regulators, and IT business representatives. During the meeting, participants will discuss current challenges, technological innovations, and prospects for the development of the domain industry.
The organizers are the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ and the Russian Institute for Public Networks (RIPN). The general partner is the Technical Center of Internet, and the partners are MSK-IX and the Runity Group of Companies. The host party is UZINFOCOM.
TLDCON has been held since 2008 and has since become a recognized international platform for developing coordinated approaches to country code domain management and sharing best practices.
Key program areas:
artificial intelligence and cybersecurity: the use of AI to protect domain ecosystems, threat forecasting, and the development of new approaches to preventing coordinated attacks and DNS abuse;
technological efficiency: improving the efficiency of DNS resolvers and implementing the principles of Universal Acceptance in accordance with international standards;
regulation and marketing: special domain maintenance regimes, including domains of state and municipal authorities and brand domains, as well as creative strategies for domain promotion and development;
human resources development: a special youth section dedicated to involving young specialists in internet governance processes, international digital cooperation, and mentorship programs.
"This year, the conference is expanding its geography and will be held for the first time in Tashkent, one of the technological hubs of Central Asia. We are pleased to host it together with UZINFOCOM, the registry of the .UZ domain, which is actively developing its national domain zone and implementing modern domain management technologies. In the context of rapid digitalization and growing cyber threats, it is crucial to maintain an open dialogue among all participants in the domain industry. I am confident that TLDCON 2026 will become a platform for discussing common challenges, sharing practical experience, and developing solutions for the development of domain infrastructure," noted Andrey Vorobyev, Director of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ.
