The YUTONG ZK6890BEVG electric bus will operate on route No. 26 in Tashkent for a month to evaluate its operation in the city.

Testing of the new YUTONG ZK6890BEVG electric bus has begun in Tashkent. Testing of the vehicle began on bus route No. 26, which connects the Majnuntol mahalla with the Oloi market.
According to the press service of Toshshahartranskhizmat JSC, the trial period will last one month. It is being implemented under a temporary electric bus loan agreement between Toshshahartranskhizmat JSC and the Chinese company Yutong Holdco Ca.
The electric bus was launched on August 12, 2026, and operates alongside other buses. The route is serviced by the 1st Bus Park branch.
The purpose of the tests is to evaluate the technical and operational parameters of the YUTONG ZK6890BEVG in the urban environment of Tashkent. Passenger comfort and the overall operating efficiency of the electric bus will also be analyzed.
Upon completion of testing, data will be collected on the electric bus's performance in urban conditions. JSC Toshshahartranskhizmat also announced the publication of additional information on the vehicle's operation on the route and the progress of the tests.
The company continues its efforts to introduce modern and comfortable public transport in Tashkent.
