Tennis player Kamilla Rakhimova concluded her participation in the third round of the US Open tournament

Kamilla Rakhimova reached the third round of the US Open tennis tournament.

In the second round, she confidently defeated Spanish tennis player Oksana Selekhmeteva in 2 sets (6:3, 6:0). The match lasted 1 hour and 5 minutes.

In the third round, however, she lost in 2 sets (3:6, 4:6) to the world and tournament number one, Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus.

Reaching the third round earned Rakhimova 130 ranking points and $290,000 in prize money.

Kamilla Rakhimova, who is originally from Russia, changed her sporting citizenship in December 2025 and began representing Uzbekistan in international competitions.
