Tax breaks are being promised to entrepreneurs who open family kindergartens

Uzbekistan plans to provide tax benefits to individual entrepreneurs who open family non-state preschool educational organizations

Tax incentives are expected to be provided to entrepreneurs who open family kindergartens.

Decree No. PF-175, aimed at implementing the tasks set out in the VI open dialogue with entrepreneurs by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, provides for the development of a draft law on providing additional tax incentives to entrepreneurs.

According to the list of draft legislative acts attached to the decree, additional tax support is proposed for individual entrepreneurs who have opened a family non-state preschool educational organization.

In particular, it is envisaged that such entrepreneurs will be exempted from property tax and land tax on buildings and land plots owned by them and used in the activities of a family kindergarten.

At the same time, this norm is not a directly introduced benefit yet. Based on the decree, a draft law “On measures to provide additional support to entrepreneurs through tax incentives” should be developed.

So, once the relevant law is passed, these tax breaks may apply to individual entrepreneurs who open family kindergartens for their own buildings and land used for the kindergarten.
