The State Unitary Enterprise "Toshkent Metropoliteni" has been reorganized into a joint-stock company.

The State Unitary Enterprise "Toshkent Metropoliteni" has changed its legal form, becoming a joint-stock company. During the reorganization, a new charter was approved, as well as regulations governing the activities of the general meeting of shareholders, the supervisory board, and the executive body. A remuneration procedure for the executive body was also established.
Following the reorganization, the company will operate under the name "Toshkent Metropoliteni" AJ. These decisions were made by the sole shareholder—the general meeting of shareholders.
The following members have joined the supervisory board of the joint-stock company: Otabek Irkabayev, Head of the Railway Transport Department of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan; Mushtariy Ashrmamatova, Chief Specialist of the Department of Economic, Financial, and Management Regulation of Enterprises in the Transport and Communications Sectors of the Ministry of Economy and Finance; Rakhmadjon Karimjonov, Head of the Department for Management of the Special Fund and Analysis of its Directions at the Main Department of Economy and Finance of Tashkent; and Nodirbek Yakubov, Deputy Head of the Department for Coordination of Appraisal and Real Estate Activities at the State Assets Management Agency.
Rakhmanbek Usmanov has been appointed Chairman of the Board of JSC Toshkent Metropoliteni. His professional qualifications, experience in the transportation sector, and management skills were taken into account in his appointment. The term of the Chairman's employment contract is three years.
Rakhmanbek Usmanov also received the authority to make changes to the headcount of the company's structural divisions within the approved total headcount.
Due to the change in the legal form, the JSC management is obligated to conduct an inventory of all company documents and bring them into compliance with current regulatory and constituent documents. In addition, it is necessary to ensure the uninterrupted functioning of all areas of activity assigned to the relevant areas and structural divisions, in accordance with the new organizational structure, staffing schedule and distribution of responsibilities.
