Tashkent discussed investment opportunities with Chinese delegation
A meeting was held at the Tashkent city administration with a 30-person business delegation consisting of representatives of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Cixi, Zhejiang Province, People's Republic of China, and the company "Ningbo Kadiya Electric Co., Ltd."
The meeting was attended by the Tashkent city governor's advisor on Chinese issues, as well as responsible employees of the Tashkent city Department of Investment, Industry and Trade and the Department of Tourism.
During the negotiations, the investment and industrial potential of Tashkent, the favorable business environment created for foreign investors, the possibilities for implementing investment projects, as well as expanding trade, economic and industrial cooperation with Chinese companies were discussed.
As part of the meeting, a presentation was also held for the delegation representatives on the investment potential of Tashkent and the opportunities created for foreign investors. It provided detailed information on the benefits and preferences provided to investors, the opportunities for operating in free and special economic zones, mechanisms for supporting investment projects, as well as the prospects for localization of production and establishing industrial cooperation with local entrepreneurs.
In particular, the prospects for assembling and localization of production of household and climate equipment in Uzbekistan with the company “Ningbo Kadiya Electric Co., Ltd.”, establishing joint production projects, establishing cooperative relations with local partners, and exchanging experience in the field of modern “smart home” technologies were considered.
“Ningbo Kadiya Electric Co., Ltd.” was founded in 2001 and has more than 1,000 employees. The enterprise specializes in the production of modern household and climate equipment, and its products are sold in more than 20 countries around the world.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to jointly develop promising investment projects, identify mutually beneficial areas of cooperation, and consistently continue practical contacts in the future.
