50 young people will be awarded state grants to study abroad in the field of energy
The President emphasized that the effective operation of new energy facilities depends on qualified specialists. The Saudi Arabian company "ACWA" is equipping technical schools in Karakalpakstan, Bukhara, and Syrdarya, and is beginning to train hundreds of young people every year in new areas of the energy sector.
The President called on other investors to also participate in the process of training specialists for their projects in accordance with international requirements. In order to support such initiatives, readiness was expressed to transfer the management of regional technical schools to investors.
Starting from the next academic year, admission quotas for energy programs at local higher education institutions will be increased. In addition, state grants will be allocated annually for 50 young people to study at the world's leading universities.
