Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized that this result is a clear confirmation of the high trust placed by the Italian people in Giorgia Meloni's political will and determination, as well as her deep sense of state responsibility.

In the current extremely complex and rapidly changing situation, Giorgia Meloni's efforts to firmly protect Italy's national interests and further strengthen the country's reputation and influence in the European Union and the international arena were particularly recognized.

The Uzbek leader expressed gratitude to the head of the Italian government for her friendly attitude towards Uzbekistan and her constant attention to the consistent expansion of multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.

It was emphasized that the Uzbek side highly values the strategic partnership relations established with Italy. It was noted with satisfaction that today, political dialogue, trade-economic and investment cooperation, and cultural-humanitarian ties are becoming increasingly meaningful, raising bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level.
