The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze.

The head of state sincerely congratulated Irakli Kobakhidze on his birthday, wishing him robust health, and the people of Georgia prosperity and continuous progress.

Issues of further expanding the Uzbekistan-Georgia strategic partnership relations were reviewed within the framework of implementing the agreements reached at the conclusion of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Georgia on July 2-3 of this year.

Particular attention was paid to increasing the volume of mutual trade, expanding industrial cooperation, as well as strengthening transport connectivity through the effective use of the infrastructure of Georgia's Poti and Anaklia ports.

Irakli Kobakhidze was born on September 25, 1978, in Tbilisi (48 years old). Since February 8, 2024 — Prime Minister of Georgia.
