Saudi Arabia sees 3.3-fold rise in travelers from Uzbekistan — National Committee on Statistics

The number of Uzbek citizens traveling to Saudi Arabia for tourism rose 10.3% year on year to 167,337 in January-July 2026, according to the National Committee on Statistics.

The committee said the number was 15,600 higher than in the same period a year earlier, when 151,700 Uzbek citizens traveled to Saudi Arabia.

The number of trips has more than tripled since 2022, when 50,000 Uzbek citizens traveled to Saudi Arabia in the first seven months of the year.

The figure dropped to 35,200 in January-July 2023, before climbing to 106,500 in 2024 and 151,700 in 2025.

Saudi Arabia was the fifth-most visited foreign destination by Uzbek citizens in January-July 2026, behind Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Russia.
