Samarkand to host international metallurgical industry forum

On December 12, 2026, Samarkand will host the 2nd General Meeting of Members of the Metallurgy Association of Uzbekistan, as well as an international forum dedicated to the development of the metallurgical industry.

The event is expected to bring together representatives of leading metallurgical enterprises of Uzbekistan, along with delegations from China, Russia, Iran, Turkey, and European countries.

Among the registered participants are also experts and representatives from international organizations McKinsey & Company and the World Steel Association.

The organizers view the forum as a platform for exchanging experience, discussing industry prospects, and establishing business contacts among representatives of the metallurgical business from different countries.
