Salary even after resignation: do not miss the 30-day deadline

The procedure has been established for paying the average monthly salary for the third month from the previous place of employment to employees whose employment contracts were terminated on specific grounds. To receive this, an online application must be submitted within 30 calendar days after the date of contract termination. Applications submitted after this deadline will not be considered.

Salary even after dismissal: do not miss the 30-day deadline

By Government Resolution No. 519 of September 28, 2026, administrative regulations for state services related to the use of additional guarantees for the material support of persons whose employment contracts have been terminated on specific grounds were approved.

It also establishes the procedure for applying to receive the average monthly salary for the third month from the previous place of work.

Persons covered by this procedure shall apply through the Single Interactive State Services Portal - SISSP.

The application must be submitted within 30 calendar days after the date of termination of the employment contract. Applications sent after this period will not be considered.

If the submitted documents are complete, the local labor authority registers the applicant as a job seeker and sends a certificate to this effect.

This certificate gives the person the right to receive the average monthly salary for the third month from the previous place of work as well. That is, the payment is made by the previous employer, while the local labor authority provides the relevant certificate.

The use of the state service is free of charge - no fee is charged for its provision.

This procedure applies to employees whose employment contracts have been terminated on specific grounds. The provided report does not contain a full list of these grounds.
