At an event attended by President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Head of the Presidential Administration Saida Mirziyoyeva emphasized that the new Council should become a mechanism yielding practical results.

According to her, the initiative was founded during Shavkat Mirziyoyev's meeting with US President Donald Trump in Washington. Following this, the President of Uzbekistan set a short and clear task for the Council: "Deliver results!"

"The working style of both the US administration and our team is precisely this: fewer words, more practical results. We promised the American side to create an effectively working mechanism, not just another committee," Saida Mirziyoyeva said.

She noted the arrival of nearly 200 American companies in Tashkent in June as a record. She highlighted that four months later, another nearly 100 US companies visited, led by the Secretary of State.

Saida Mirziyoyeva stated the importance of clear rules for business, open dialogue, and prompt responses to requests.

"Business strives for places where rules are clear, doors are open, and calls are answered immediately. Therefore, we strive to be a partner who is constantly in touch and does not leave requests unanswered," she said.

In this regard, it was promised that a person responsible for direct communication would be assigned to each company at the meeting, and no issue raised by entrepreneurs would escape the attention of the Council's co-chairs.

Saida Mirziyoyeva also announced that rules were changed based on requests from entrepreneurs. According to her, Uzbekistan's investments serve to create new jobs in the US, and the purchase of American products supports the operation of industrial enterprises. She emphasized that both sides should benefit from the partnership.

The Jackson–Vanik amendment issue was also mentioned in the speech. Saida Mirziyoyeva recalled that Rubio had called it a "relic of the Cold War" and stated that Uzbekistan expects this restriction to be repealed as soon as possible.

At the beginning of the event, she assessed Marco Rubio starting his first trip to Central Asia from Uzbekistan as a sign of great respect. Recalling the April meeting in Washington, she also joked about Uzbek hospitality: guests often end up staying longer than they planned. She expressed hope that Uzbekistan would become such a cherished place for American business as well.
